Meet Ashley
Hi! I'm Ashley, one of the co-founders of Wicked in Wilmington. I'm a lifelong reader, librarian, and crafting enthusiast with a passion for creating unforgettable experiences for fellow book lovers. By combining my love of reading with my professional background, I strive to curate events that capture the magic of the stories we all adore while exceeding readers' expectations.
I began my career in marketing but found myself searching for work that truly aligned with my passions. That journey led me to earn my Master's in Library & Information Science and pursue a career as a librarian. In that role, I managed reading collections, developed community programs, and planned citywide literary events—where I discovered my love for bringing readers together through meaningful, immersive experiences.
When I'm not planning bookish events, you'll usually find me chasing after my energetic one-year-old (who keeps my husband and me on our toes!) or staying up far later than I should because I'm completely invested in "just one more chapter." If there's a fantasy world to get lost in or a stack of books waiting to be read, that's exactly where you'll find me.

Hi! I’m a proud wife, devoted mother of four amazing kids, and a passionate nurse with a heart for helping others. Life in our household is always full of energy, laughter, and a little bit of beautiful chaos — and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Balancing a busy family life with a demanding career in healthcare has taught me the true meaning of resilience, compassion, and grace under pressure. Whether I’m caring for patients or cheering on my kids at their activities, I strive to bring warmth and dedication to everything I do.
In the quiet moments (when they come!), you’ll find me curled up with a good book. Reading is my escape, my inspiration, and my way of staying curious about the world. From fantasy to dark romance, I love stories that challenge me and spark new ideas.
